Payment & Refund Policy

Welcome to DaanSetu. This Payment & Refund Policy explains how payments are processed on our crowdfunding platform and under what conditions refunds may be issued.

1. Payment Processing

  • All contributions (pledges, donations, and fees) are processed through secure third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Your payment method (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, or wallet) will be charged at the time you confirm your pledge or donation.
  • Transaction records and receipts are emailed to you immediately after a successful payment.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • If you change your mind, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of making a payment.
  • To initiate a refund, please contact https://support.daansetu.in/user/tickets/create with your order/transaction details and reason for the refund.
  • Refund requests must be received within the 48-hour window; requests submitted after this period will not be eligible under this policy.

3. Refund Process

  1. Submit Request: contact https://support.daansetu.in/user/tickets/create with:
    • Your full name and email address used for the payment
    • Transaction ID or order number
    • Date and time of the original payment
    • Brief reason for refund
  2. Verification: Our support team will verify your request and transaction details.
  3. Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and issued back to your original payment method.
  4. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

4. Exceptions

  • Payments related to completed campaigns that have disbursed funds to creators are not refundable under this policy.
  • Any fees charged by payment gateways or banks may not be refundable if not recoverable by DaanSetu.
  • In cases of suspected fraud or policy violations, refunds may be withheld pending investigation.
