Fundraiser Policy

This Fundraiser Policy outlines the requirements and procedures for individuals or organizations (“Fundraisers”) seeking to raise funds on DaanSetu. By submitting a fundraising request, you agree to comply with the following terms:

1. Eligibility & Verification

  1. NGO Registration (Optional up to ₹20 lakh):
    • Fundraisers registered as NGOs may register directly.
    • Unregistered groups or individuals may raise up to ₹20,00,000 without an NGO certificate.
  2. Social Proof Requirement:
    • Provide links to existing social media content (Instagram, YouTube, or other platforms) demonstrating your NGO’s past activities.
    • If no social proof is available, you may email full-resolution photos of your projects to https://support.daansetu.in/user/tickets/create. at the time of application.
  3. Certificate Requirement Above ₹20 lakh:
    • For campaigns targeting more than ₹20,00,000, submission of a valid NGO registration certificate is mandatory.

2. Content Ownership & Prohibited Conduct

  • Original Media Only: You must use your own videos and photos.
  • No Third-Party Content: Posting or claiming content belonging to another NGO or individual is strictly prohibited.
  • Consequences of Violation: Any use of copied images or videos will result in:
    • Permanent suspension of your DaanSetu account.
    • Ban on creating any new accounts on the platform.

Support for Media Creation: If you need assistance capturing original images or videos, contact our support team at https://support.daansetu.in/user/tickets/create. Our team can arrange to help you in person.

3. Fundraising Process

  1. Request Submission:
    • Complete the form at: https://daansetu.in/fundraisingrequest.html
  2. Review & Login:
    • Allow 24–48 hours for our team to review your request.
    • You will receive an email with a campaign login link to set up your project details.
  3. Campaign Creation:
    • Fill in your campaign title, description, goal, images, and reward tiers.
    • Submit for approval.
  4. Approval & Promotion:
    • Approval takes 24–48 hours.
    • Upon approval, we will request a promotional video.
    • Approved videos will be promoted on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google.
  5. Advertising Budget:
    • Advertising costs are deducted from the donations you receive.
    • Note: Only your campaign’s original video & Images may be used in promotions.

4. Reporting Misuse & Disputes

  • Report Unauthorized Use: If you discover your media or NGO details have been misused by another fundraiser, Contact https://support.daansetu.in/user/tickets/create with proof.
  • Response Time: We will acknowledge and respond within 24–48 hours.
  • Enforcement: Confirmed misuse leads to:
    • Permanent suspension of the offending account.
  • Disclaimer: DaanSetu is not responsible for off-platform disputes or legal actions beyond this policy enforcement.
